Water Mitigation

Document the loss on day one. Get paid for every drying day.

Scope water and mold jobs room by room, count equipment by the day, and keep the documentation with the file. Rex tracks each job from mitigation to reconstruction and follows up when payment stalls.

Example activity. Names and amounts are illustrative.

Where it slips

Mitigation money leaks after the fans go home.

  1. 01

    Equipment days nobody logged.

Air movers billed for three days when they ran for five.

  2. 02

    Scope that changes mid-dry.

A second room, a category change, new containment. The estimate never caught up.

  3. 03

    The rebuild that went elsewhere.

Drying finished, and nobody wrote the reconstruction estimate.

Ask

Know which files won't hold up.

Ask Rex which jobs are missing documentation before the carrier asks you.

  • Jobs with gaps in daily documentation
  • Equipment days by job
  • Mitigation jobs with no rebuild estimate
Rex, which active jobs are missing daily moisture readings?

Act

Then it keeps the rebuild.

When drying is done, Rex drafts the next step from your email so the reconstruction stays with you.

  • Rebuild estimates drafted from the mitigation scope
  • Payment follow-ups on aging invoices
  • Owner updates when drying is complete
Rex, tell owners whose drying is complete about the rebuild estimate.

Drying complete at 18 Canal Street

Hi Luis,

Drying at your home is complete and the final readings are in your file.

We've prepared the reconstruction estimate for the kitchen and hallway. Can we review it with you on Thursday?

Thanks,

How it works

Room by room. Day by day.

Mitigation, pack-out and reconstruction as separate scopes, each with the support a carrier looks for.

  1. 01 · Walk

    The loss, room by room.

Photos and notes per room, with mitigation and pack-out as separate scopes.

  2. 02 · Build

    Equipment in rental days.

Dehumidifiers, air movers and scrubbers counted by unit and by day, the way carriers reimburse.

  3. 03 · Document

    Support for the file.

Moisture logs, containment and disposal captured so supplements hold up.

Your rules

Rex does the work. You keep the rules.

Drafts wait for you.

Follow-ups, invoices and work orders can wait as drafts until you approve them.

Inside your systems.

Rex reads and writes back to the CRM, accounting and email you already run. Nothing to migrate.

Every action on the record.

Approvals, permissions and an audit trail show what Rex did, when, and who signed off.

Questions

Common questions.

Does the water category change the scope?

Yes. Category 1, 2 or 3 drives PPE, antimicrobial and disposal line items in the estimate.

Can I scope pack-out separately?

Yes. Contents get their own scope with photo references, salvage designations and storage line items.

How is equipment billed?

By unit and by day, so a five-day dry cycle shows five days of each piece of equipment.

Will Rex contact owners or adjusters without my OK?

Only if you allow it. Updates, follow-ups and estimates can wait as drafts until you approve them.

Not software you fill in. An operator who does the work.
